Research Presentation at the 69th Space Sciences and Technology Conference

A research presentation was given at the Organized Session "Fundamental Research on Multi-Satellite Formation Flying for High-Speed D2D Communication" during the 69th Space Sciences and Technology Conference (SSTC69) held at Sapporo Convention Center from November 25 (Tue) to 27 (Thu), 2025.

The presentation title is as follows:

Investigation of High-Precision Evaluation System for Formation Flying Control Algorithms
Hirozumi Yamaguchi, Tatsuya Amano, Akihito Hiromori, Akira Uchiyama, Hamada Rizk (The University of Osaka, RIKEN)

This research is part of the "High-Precision Satellite Formation Flying Technology" project funded by the JAXA Space Strategy Fund FY2025, contracted to Interstellar Technologies Inc., with Osaka University participating as a collaborative research institution. The project aims to establish multi-satellite formation flying technology that densely deploys 1,000 to up to 100,000 ultra-small satellites within a range of tens of meters in Low Earth Orbit while maintaining relative distances with centimeter-level precision. Osaka University is responsible for research on realizing a simulation system to accurately evaluate formation flying control algorithms.
