On May 30th, Assistant Professor Amano presented at the organized session "Interdisciplinary Fusion for Achieving a Co-creative Society between Humans and AI" during the 2024 Annual Conference of the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence (JSAI 2024, the 38th meeting), held in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

- Theme: Addressing the expectations and challenges arising from generative AI, this session focused on promoting comprehensive research (interdisciplinary fusion) combining information science/technology with humanities/social sciences, centered on human-AI interaction. It aimed to introduce research from related JST projects seeking to create new human-centered interactions that contribute to solving social issues and enhancing human well-being, followed by a panel discussion.
Assistant Professor Amano presented his research as one of the six presenters in the "Research Introductions from Awardees" segment. He is a 2023 awardee of the JST PRESTO program "Co-creation of Fundamental Technologies for Human and Social Transformation through Interdisciplinary Fusion."
The session consisted of explanations of related JST programs, research presentations by the six awardees, and a panel discussion involving all speakers.
