In 2024, Haruki Yonekura, a first-year doctoral student, participated in the North America Training Program organized by Osaka University’s Next Generation Researcher Development Project. Through site visits to companies and universities in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley, as well as English pitch workshops, he gained an international perspective and learned about social implementation, entrepreneurship, and the practical application of research outcomes. The program is positioned as part of the project’s overseas training support for North America.
